Island of Youth, Berlin
Even though we really can’t complain about the current mild winter weather, it’s hard not to fall into a winter blues right after christmas. The short days and grey weather has also a negative effect on my mood. After some time I just don’t feel like wearing my warm winter clothing anymore. In this case I like to fall back on my summer clothing and make it winter appropriate by adding layers over layers. Don’t worry, I’m actually wearing stockings here and warming layers underneath 😉 Of course, it is also not easy to take outfit pictures right now. As soon as one takes off the winter jacket, it’s freezing cold and it was also quite windy the day the pictures were taken. At least it has been quite empty at the Treptower Park, which is usually filled to the brim during summer. It is especially to find an empty spot on the Island of Youth, on whose bridge the pictures were taken. This summer I fell in love with wrap dresses and this maxi version had been sewn around the same time and from the same pattern as my other version. The airy maxi lenght had been perfect for the hot summer weather and so this dress has already been worn several times. About time that I show it to you on the blog! Lately I’ve been practicing with Illustrator a little and now I can add drawings to my outfits. I hope you like it 🙂

Hallo Julia,
Luise
