Did you also own a black slipdress in the 90ies? I was certainly wearing mine all the time back then. That’s why I’m really happy that this dress style has made a comeback in the last year. I had actually already finished a dress using this pattern from burdastyle last year. However, the cheap fabric from Maybachufer Market in Berlin has been a mistake and was not holding up. Nevertheless, I was wearing it all time and needed desperately a replacement. I never managed to blog about the last version but wanted to remedy it with the new version as I can highly recommend this pattern.
[stextbox id=”grey”]Pattern: Burdastyle #113 05/2016
Difficultry: ●●○○○
Size: 36 (my usual size)[/stextbox]

Modifications: I only lengthened the dress by 5 cm. Otherwise, I did not make any changes. For the workmanship I used the method used at the top version #111 with the bias tape.
