I’m usually reminded of France when I see these beautiful colourful old doors. But Berlin has acutally its fair share of these photogenic doors. When I first arrived it only took me 5 minutes to find the first fashion bloggers, who were taking pictures in front of one of these doors. Needless to say that I felt at home right away. In Berlin nobody cares or even casts a look when you are taking outfit pictures in public. You have to do much better than this to draw their attention 😉 Today’s pattern started its life as the Grande Arche Blouse. I liked this pattern so much that I experimented with lengthening it. The result is a flared dress, which is nevetheless not shapeess. It’s also very comfortable to wear for the current hot temperatures as it is quite airy as I have already tested for you. I liked the dress version just as much and so I’m offering it in addition to the original blouse pattern. The chambray fabric is actually from a fabric swap at Sewing by the Sea and I think that especially the solid version of this pattern has a slight 60s style. What do you think?

LG, Manuela
