Hallo ihr Lieben, als ich euch von dem Aufbau meines eigenen kleinen Schnittmusterlabels erzählt habe, hatte ich auch angekündigt, dass es für die neue geschäfltiche Seite meines Lebens einen eigenen Blog names Kreativrezepte.de geben wird. Das war auch alles in der Theorie sehr gut durchdacht, aber leider ließ es sich in meiner Realität nicht durchführen. Schließlich kostet es schon viel Zeit und Arbeit nur einen Blog zu führen, für einen zweiten hat es dann einfach nicht gereicht. Schließlich hängt ja bei jedem auch noch die ganze Bandbreite an Social Media Kanälen hinten dran. Am Ende hatte ich ständig ein schlechtes Gewissen, da ich keinen der beiden Blogs richtig gefüllt habe, was nur dazu geführt hat, dass ich mir noch mehr Druck gemacht habe. Dieser Druck hat dann zu einer absoluten Schreibblockade geführt und mich über Wochen gelähmt. Deshalb habe ich beschlossen Kreativrezepte dicht zu machen und nur noch hier auf Sewionista zu posten. Ich werde mich bemühen eine gute Mischung an unterschiedlichen Posts hier zu zeigen, so dass es nicht nur ausschließlich um meine Schnitte geht. Ich hoffe, ihr könnt verstehen, dass es nicht ganz ohne Werbung geht, wenn ich eines Tages komplett davon leben möchte.
Wie ihr sehen könnt, ist Sewionista von Blogger auf WordPress umgezogen und hat das Layout von Kreativrezepte übernommen. Ich hoffe, euch gefällt das neue Blogdesign. Lasst es mich wissen, falls Interesse an einem Blogpost über den Umzug von Blogger zu WordPress besteht. Der Umzug hat zwar ganz gut geklappt, aber ohne ein paar kleinere Probleme ist es dann doch nicht gegangen. Dummerweise wurden alle Permalinks der Blogposts überschrieben und so muss ich nach und nach alle Links manuell wieder anpassen. Es kann also sein, dass der eine oder andere Link in nächster Zeit nicht funktioniert. Falls jemand weiß, wie das einfacher geht, immer her damit 😉 Sonst bin ich aber sehr froh über die Möglichkeiten, die ein selbstgehosteter WordPress-Blog einem so bietet und ich werde nach und meine Seite nach meinen Wünschen anpassen können. Wenn ihr meinem Blog bisher über Google gefolgt seid, wird das jetzt mit Sicherheit nicht mehr funktionieren. Ihr könnt mir aber über Bloglovin folgen, dieses Tool nutze ich auch um den Blogeinträgen meiner Lieblinsblogs zu folgen. Da die neue Seite jetzt mehr Website mit Blog als reiner Blog ist, hat sich der Link zum Blog geändert und ist jetzt https://sewionista.com/blog/. Goodbye Kreativrezepte…
Dear readers, when I told you about starting my own small indie pattern company, I also told you that I had started a separate website for the business side of things named Kreativrezepte.de. This might have sounded good in theory, but unfortunately it did not work out in reality. Just writing one blog is already a lot of work and requires a lot of time. Not to forget the social media channels that also need to be filled regularly. In the end, I didn’t have time for both and had a constant bad conscience and build up a lot of pressure for myself. This pressure then resulted in a total writer’s block and paralysed me for weeks. That’s why I have decided to close down Kreativrezepte.de and will only write on sewionista.com from now on. I will try to offer you a mix of different topics, so that it will not only be about my patterns. However, I hope that you can understand that it doesn’t work completely without advertising, if I want to make a living of it some day in the future.
As you can see, I have moved Sewionista from Blogger to WordPress and have taken over the layout of Kreativrezepte. I hope that you like my new blog design. Let me know if you are interested in a post about how to move blogs from Blogger to WordPress. The move has worked fairly easy, but of course not without any hiccups. The move has changed all the permalinks of my blog posts and now I have to switch them back manually one by one. If you know about a better way to fix this problem, please let me know. Otherwise, I’m very happy about finally moving to WordPress as the possibilities to modifiy the blog according to my wishes are sheer endless.
