It’s slowly getting winter over here and unfortunately I got hit by the corresponding cold epidemic this week. Fortunately not so badly that I had to stay in bed but I had to drag myself to work and back during the week and was happy when I could drop in bed in the evening. Luckily, it’s the weekend and I can finally show you my tartan blouse which I already announced over here.
Sewing time incl. cutting: Around 4 hours.
Pattern review: What I particularly like about this pattern, is that it has a very classic shape. It’s basically a woven shirt. Unfortunately, the blouse is a little tight above the chest as soon as you set in the sleeves. The back is a bit shapeless and could use some waist darts. The hip was also a little tight. As recommended, I used fabric with some body but can actually imagine that the pattern would fit more nicely when made with a lighter fabric with some stretch.
