Here in Germany we are still waiting for the summer which keeps on hiding behind big poufy rain clouds. About time to get started on sewing some trend pieces. Cut-outs are one of my favourite trends for spring/summer 2013. Because with the help of cut-outs one can show some skin at the right spots and thereby emphasize the most beautiful parts of one’s body. Cut-outs are especially an eye-catcher on simple cut garments. They can be underlined by transparent fabrics such as lace or chiffon or worn on bare skin. Therefore this trend is skillfully done, the garments have to fit perfectly, neither too loose nor too tight.
Fortunately, there is already a wide range of sewing patterns available with which one can easily DIY this fashion trend. To a fashionable spring/summer 2013!
