Canal de la Robine, Südfrankreich – Tropenmuster & Strohtasche

Das Motto des Me-Made-Mittwochs letzte Woche war „Ich packe meinen Koffer“. Leider packe ich nicht gerade meine Koffer, sondern habe sie vor kurzem nach meinem spontanen Urlaub in Südfrankreich wieder ausgepackt. Wie ist es bei euch? Näht ihr noch eure Urlaubsgarderobe oder genießt ihr mit dieser schon den Urlaub? Das Kleid mit Tropenmuster musste unbedingt mitkommen, schließlich schreit das Muster einfach Sommer und Urlaub. Den Stoff habe ich bereits im Februar auf dem Stoffmarkt am Maybachufer in Berlin gekauft. Damals war es zwar noch eisig kalt und an das Nähen von Sommerkleidung war noch nicht zu denken, aber den Stoff konnte ich nicht liegen lassen. Da ich das großflächige Muster möglichst vollständig erhalten wollte, habe ich mein Schnittmuster für das Grande Arche Kleid gewählt. Der Schnitt kommt ohne Verschluss aus, denn das Kleid kann einfach über den Kopf gezogen werden. Auch der gerade Saum eignet sich besonders gut für das Nähen von Mustern. Das Kleid ist schön luftig und perfekt geeignet für den Sommer. Da es an dem Tag recht windig war, habe ich es mit meiner heißgeliebten Armyjacke kombiniert. Dazu trage ich noch die It-Bag des Sommers: Eine Strohtasche! Die macht jedes Outfit zu einem Urlaubslook und außerdem ist es endlich mal eine It-Bag, die man sich im Gegensatz zu den sonstigen Designertaschen auch leisten kann. Deshalb habe ich euch einige schöne Versionen rausgesucht:

The motto of last week’s Me-Made-Mittwoch was „I pack my suitcase“. Unfortunately, I’m not currently packing my suitcase but rather unpacked it not too long ago after my spontaneous trip to the South of France. What about you? Are you still sewing your vacation wardrobe or already enjoying your vacation in it? The dress with the tropical print certainly had to come with me as it just screams summer and vacation. I bought this fabric way back in February at the Maybachufer fabric market in Berlin. Back then it was freezing cold and I was far from thinking about summer clothes but I just couldn’t leave it behind. As I did not want to cut the large size print too much apart, I chose my Grande Arche Dress pattern. The pattern works without a zipper and can be pulled on over the head. Its straight hem is also perfect for sewing prints. The dress is nice and airy and thus perfect for summer. As it has been quite windy in Southern France during that day, I wore it with my beloved army jacket. I also added the It-bag of this summer to the outfit: a straw bag! A straw bag certainly turns any outfit into a vacation look and this is finally an It-bag that is affordable in contrast to the usual designer bags.
