Finally some spring colour has made it into my wardrobe in the shape of these light pink culottes. These pants are actually the second pair made from the pattern of Fashionstyle/Knipmode. The first pair was sewn in classic black and even though I haven’t blogged them, I have worn them a lot during the last fall. The pants patterns of Fashionstyle/Knipmode just fit me the best. I only shortened the pants by 10 cm to get the typical culottes length. In addition, I had to do my usual swayback adjustment and took out quite a lot of fabric in the back. Maybe I will sew this pattern again with long legs for autumn/winter.
I was not so happy with today’s photo location. Somehow I had thought that the picture of Berlin’s skyline would look better on the pictures. Additionally, I had underestimated the amount of traffic at the S-Bahn station. Every 2 minutes a new train arrived and of course I had forgotten to colour coordinate my outfit to the yellow/red trains. Crazy, I know… I always think way too much about such unimportant details. My perfectionism is really going on my nerves right now and I’m currently working on making compromises and being satisfied with less. Way to often I’m overthinking and overthinking instead of just doing! Keep your fingers crossed that I will manage to keep my inner perfectionist under control 😉 To which team do you belong? Team “overthinking” or “just doing”?
