follow Usually, I ignore the colour of the year that Pantone pronounces each year. Marsala, Radiant Orchid, Emerald and all the other colours were just not my thing. Thus, it is rather a coincidence that I’m wearing today the two current trend colours. Mainly because I love to wear light blue, light pink and pastel shades in general. Additionally, I have been noticing many tops with bell sleeves at the relevant fashion blogs, which I liked a lot. Luckily, I had the perfect light blue fabric lying in my stash for the last 2 or more years and could sew my own it-piece even though I’m still on a fabric diet. For the bell sleeves I just shortened the sleeves and cut a straight piece with the double width of the sleeve. Then I just gathered this piece and added it to the sleeve = finished bell sleeves. At the beginning of the week the springlike temperatures allowed me to wear my new blouse for the first time. And I’m already in love with its shape which is simple enough to be worn in various combinations but has that little something special due to the bell sleeves. How do you keep it with trends and trend colours? Follow or ignore them?
