Boxhagener Platz, Berlin – Biker jacket meets floral dress
Today I’m showing you another outfit in my beloved style mix – a feminine floral dress is contrasted by a masculine leather jacket. As I’m currently exploring my new home, I thought I would take you on a virtual tour with me around Berlin. From now on, I will add information about where the photos were taken and tell you a little about the particular background and what you could do there. Maybe you can get the one or other tip for your next Berlin trip that way. Today’s pictures were taken at the Boxhagener Platz, which is lovingly called Boxi by the locals. The nearest S- and U-Bahn stations are Warschauer Straße and Frankfurter Tor. You can find the Boxhagener Platz at the very trendy Friedrichshain district and it is really crowded every Saturday and Sunday. On Saturdays the place is filled with market stands selling fresh produce, meat, fish etc. and gives you the opportunity to try specialities from many countries. On Sundays you can find a flea market at the same spot. Unfortunately, the sellers are mainly professionals, but nevertheless, the flea market is always worth a visit. Around the Boxhagener Platz you can find many small restaurants and coffee shops. I can highly recommend the Silo Coffee for a yummy breakfast. The selection for a relaxed lunch or dinner is also enormous. For vegan food I can heartly recommend the Vietnamese restaurant 1990 and if you want to give Russian food (even vegetarian or vegan) a try, you have come to the right place at the Datscha. I hope that you enjoyed our little walk around the Boxhagener Platz and that you will visit it next time you are in Berlin!
